Dr. BKM is the immediate past President of the Maha Bodhi Society of India. He firmly believes in the universal Buddhist principles of Karuna (compassion), Maitri (unbounded love) and Upekkha (equanimity). The Society is dedicated to achieving global peace. Among its main aims is the revival of Buddhism in India, the land of its origin where it flourished for hundreds of years.
