Sangam Kala Group is a prominent non-commercial registered cultural group which is engaged in the promotion of Country's artistic cultural tradition. In 1977, the Group organized the First All India Light Music Vocal Competition in the memory of immortal singer Master Madan. He was the Durbar musician of His Highness the Raja Sahib Bahadur of Keonthol State (Simla Hills).Renowned Music directors & composers from the world of music including radio, television and films have graced the panel of judges in SKG events to select the best talent. The Group also offers scholarships to educate promising voices in light music.

- Has 45 chapters all over the country and abroad.
- Provides platform to thousands of unknown and hidden musical voices of young ones and youth to perform and exhibit their talent to attain recognition and respect they deserve.
- Is conducting music competitions annually for more than 30 years.
Today the group has attained an enviable image. Looking into the future, the Group plans to set up a school for learning light music. It also intends to set up a library of songs of famous singers. The Group believes that even the sky is not its limit!
In a nutshell the Group has patronised and promoted the cause of our music, our art, our culture. And it continues to march towards its goal undeterred, holding the light of music high. We believe in national integration through music. We invite all music lovers to join and unite spread and promote the cause.
On this event every year the group presents some sangam awards, like "Sangam Legendary Award", "Patronage to music", "Best Music Teacher", "Promotion to Music", "Best Music Critic" and Other awards for Best Music Director, Playback Singer etc.
